Label: Paradox Music
21 November, 2011 | Digital | PM 022D • Vinyl | PM 022
Style: Drum n Bass
Total Tracks: 02
01. Paralexia
02. Ambiguity
Paradox blends tough beats and interesting rhythmic patterns with blissful atmospheres with great aplomb, resulting in some top-notch drum and bass that, much like Critical's current output, traverses the trendy, minimal and discerning dancefloor divide. Title track "Paralexia" moves from weighty bassline monster to Metalheadz style musical roller deftly, making for an interesting and compelling listen. "Ambiguity", however, is a dark and dirty venture; a dramatic intro and growling subs are offset by light, tripping breaks and a deep sense of unease. Powerful stuff.
